On a real Swarmandal all notes are sustained - which can sound a bit cacophonous.
On ours you can select (while playing sequences) to sustain:
Only harmony notes / Harmony notes + characteristic notes of raag / All notes
(the non-sustained notes are damped)
In raag Jog either of the first two settings support the feeling of the raag: sustaining Shuddhe Ga in upward sequences, and Komal Ga in downward sequences.

Number keys options:
Play and 'record' Tanpura / Play Swarmandal / Play Reed
Playing notes with number keys:
(1=Sa...5=Pa...7=Ni...8=high Sa...0=high Ga)
holding Ctrl plays non-shuddhe note when it exists in the raag
holding Shift plays note an octave lower
holding Alt plays note an octave higher
If 'recording' a tanpura sequence, press Enter to repeat what you've played so far in a cycle, or Backspace to delete it and start again.
